Dear Friends,

The years past have been full of calamities and disasters, which have absorbed the financial support worldwide.

The limited donations we receive by us will not allow us to continue the management of the sanctuary and to maintain the Friends of Oolong, which is now completely dependent on the financial support by me as landholder of Dalton Park. 

I had to pay the repairs of the dam wall to the Murray Cod Lake and my application for a refund to the CMA under the Regional Disaster Recovery in Lachlan NSW was rejected on the ground that the lake was actually built before the CMA was formed. Very disappointing but we must persevere in our program.

I have decided to start a hatchery so that we may sell eggs and get a percentage as donation to support the management of the Friends of Oolong. 

I hope that this move will facilitate the management while at the same time I am privately negotiating a major sponsorship.

Friends of Oolong Annual General Meeting, 2011.
The 2011 Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 24 September 2011 at 3 PM followed by the General Meeting at 3.30 at Dalton Park.
