Please note that the initial list was produced from a fauna investigation on a 2ha area within Oolong and the updated list is presented in three parts. (Please read additional note under Birds - Part one)
The bird list includes: fourteen species threatened or locally declining (*), Fifteen species recorded breeding (B).

(Both male and female sighted by COG party on 18 August, 2002)
"This is normally a dry woodland bird from further west, but would have moved-in because of the drought" (Tony Saunders).
