About the Micro Car and Scooter Club.
Some of our vehicles lined up around Hyde Park, Sydney, during the
Australia day NRMA hosted Motor fest, held annually on 26th January.
The objectives of the club are the preservation, restoration and promotion of microcars and scooters kept to as original condition as practicable.

We hold rallies and social events on a regular basis and associate with similar independent registers and clubs here and overseas that promote the same ideals and interests. Some of these being:
- Brisbane Cane Toads Scooter Club.
- British two stroke club in Victoria.
- The Historic German Vehicle Register of Australia. (formally DKW Auto Union Register of Australia)
- Fiat Club of NSW Inc.
- Goggomobil register in NSW.
- Microcar Club of New Zealand.
- SIVA (Special interest vehicle association) in Perth, Western Australia.
- Southwest Brisbane, Qld, motoring club Inc.
- Sydney City Scooter Club.
- Velosolex Oz, Victoria, Australia.
Monthly meetings are held in Sydney on a regular basis at The Greyhound Club, Crn Boardman St and Rookwood Rd, Yagoona. Visitors and members are welcome to attend, held 8pm on the third Friday of each month, excluding December and January. Occasionally meetings have been held in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in these type of vehicles, past owners wishing to relive their misspent youth, restorers, historians, tyre kickers, just fascinated…...
We are always interested in hearing from past owners for their experiences, stories, any previous information on dealers, problems, how they solved them, past or present photos collections or models. Come on tell us all about them before you forget!
Membership of the Club is open to owners of motor vehicles as mentioned above and any other persons interested in such vehicles in the following categories:
- Full membership
- Family member’s
- Associate membership (those overseas, looking for a vehicle or advice)
We have members throughout Australia with vehicles ranging from scooters in Alice Springs, Zetas, Messerschmitt's and Goggomobils in every state and a Bartsch in Sydney, a one off production special. Some other vehicles catered for include Zeta runabout and sports, Rabbit scooters, Heinkel scooters and cars, Vespa 400 cars, Trojan, Isetta, Berkley, Bond, Cushman, BMW, NSU Prinz, Lloyd, Lambretta, Triumph Tigress, AC Petite, Scooter car, Nobel, Püch, Zundapp, Fiat, Meyra, Mazda, Honda, Messerschmitt, Goggomobil, the list goes on and on.
We publish a magazine quarterly covering the southern hemisphere seasons:
- Spring = March.
- Winter = June.
- Autumn = September.
- Summer = December.
Any items for inclusion, sales, wanted, etc. should be submitted to the editor by the 1st of the month prior to publication. Rates for half or full page advertisement are available at modest cost.
A technical library is available. This is constantly being improved and added to and we are able to supply photocopied information, technical literature, specifications and details. You just have to ask. We stock and supply some spare parts for Goggomobil, Lloyd, Lambretta, Messerschmitt's & Vespa, or at least, point you in the right direction for that elusive part.
