New England Bicycle Users Group

Who is Nebug?

The New England Bicycle Users Group is a social bicycle club offering both new and experienced riders the opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of cycling in the Armidale district. Each Sunday we ride as a group on one of the many quiet back roads in the area. The ride is easy paced to suit the slowest rider, no one is left behind to ride alone. We alternate between a short ride around Armidale township, and longer rides over a variety of roads. The emphasis is on enjoyment, we don't push to maintain a fast pace or cover a large distance, and we usually end our ride at one of the many fine cafes around town to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat.

Come along on a Ride

There are no membership fees, or forms to sign. Anyone who would like to come along on the rides are very welcome to join us. Most rides start from the Armidale Bicycle Centre, at 244 Beardy Street, one block west of the centre of town.

Ride Guide

Our rides are planned in advance with an emphasis on variety, safety, and most of all fun.  The Ride Guide offers a choice of short or long rides around the district, and everyone is welcome to join in on any ride. The guide outlines the route for each long ride, with an approximate distance, and a contact for further details. All of our rides are conducted by a Ride leader who knows the route and the conditions.
